After Tonight's Episode (19 MARCH 2012) and the Exit of Lovable Heather Trott we asked Online fans about what they though't about tonight's exit, and if they will miss cheese lover Heather.
TED2012 Said:
i thought her exit was great and although final, it will be remembered along with Heather's character (therefore she won't be forgotten).
I thought the final scene was really good (despite some mixed views on here) but it was realistic (I would have said) and built up well.
I will miss Heather but it's up to the writers in who they kill off.
SillyBillyGoat Said:
The exit was good, just let down by the silent blows.
I always liked the character of Heather.
I'll miss Heather, there are plenty more deadwood characters still hanging around.
Rosaliee Said:
Terrible. The camera angle was dodgy, it seemed silent and blurry, and was a really bad send off for such an innocent character that deserved a happy ending.
As for missing the character? No, I won't. I thought Heather was an ok character, but that's it.
chrisgeorgiou46 Said:
Agree 100%. I have never been this angry at a show before. I want to kill those writers. She was so innocent, never hurt anyone - she had just been rejected by her best friend, trying to protect the one that ends up killing her. Eastenders is always so damn depressing. Out of most of the characters, she deserved a happy ending so much. She was leaving anyway. I feel so bad for her. I literally wanted to jump through the screen and hug her, and I don't even watch Eastenders consistently anymore. There isn't any happy ending for anyone on that square. What are they gonna do next? Let dot get crushed by a massive crucifix on her church?
QueenShebaVIII Said:
It was the wrong exit for Heather because she's a too light hearted character to work in a dramatic storyline. Having Ben murder her of all people makes it even more ridiculous. The episode itself was badly written, badly acted and mostly very dull until the last minute, which was at least nearly amusing.
Other fans stated that it was "Awful" and it and "Badly Done"
